Headin'
Sunrise along US 395, near Independence, CA
We've been taking a break from the world of publishing, rethinking just what we want to do with this website. Here it is: I'm done publishing books for now; been there, done that, movin' on.
We are going to keep presenting articles about places we like on the American deserts; that's where our heart is.
Lately, we've been spending a lot of time on the highway 395 corridor - what a fascinating area! Look for articles and photo essays
coming out of those trips in the near future. We just put up a web gallery of some of the spectacular photography that comes from being in such a
beautiful and wild area. Take a look at our Traveling 395 gallery.
